Indianapolis - A Purdue junior has launched a campaign for Indiana governor.
Christopher Stried says he's running as an independent. In a campaign ad airing on CNN, Stried criticizes Gov. Mitch Daniels' handling of the state's property tax dilemma and the sales tax increase.
"I'm not asking for your money. Just your vote," Stried says in the ad, which asks people for their write-in vote.
On his website, Stried says he's a double major in communications and political science at Purdue. He is from Florida.
