Sen. JD Vance will attend a reception in Fort Wayne next Wednesday.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — The Republican nominee for vice president is coming to Indiana next week.

Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio, will attend a reception in Fort Wayne on Wednesday, July 24, Allen County GOP Chairman Steve Shine confirmed to WPTA-TV

Former President Donald Trump announced Vance as his running mate Monday, shortly after he was formally nominated as the Republican candidate for president at the party's convention in Milwaukee.

Those wishing to attend the Fort Wayne reception are required to make a $1,000 donation to Trump's fundraising committees. Donors pledging $15,000 will receive a photo opportunity with Vance, while those donating at least $25,000 per person will be invited to a roundtable discussion with the candidate.

The location of the reception will only be disclosed to those who RSVP for the event. An RSVP form can be downloaded here. Completed forms must be emailed to T47Events@GOP.com.

Vance addressed the Republican National Convention Wednesday night, his first speech as the party's vice presidential nominee.
