Indianapolis, June 23 - "They can run but they can't hide." Those are the words of Lynn Wooden. The families of 27-year-old Lashell Wooden and 29-year-old Lee Drivers want their killer caught as soon as possible.

Someone shot and killed the couple over the weekend in the their Beach Avenue home near 86th Street and Keystone Avenue on the Indianapolis near north side.

Lashell Wooden's uncle, Lynn Wooden, hopes the public can help. "She is sweet as she want to be. She would do anything for you."

Deputies discovered the bodies after a family asked them to do a welfare check because she didn't show up for work. He worked and was part owner of Naptown Record's on 30th Street in Indianapolis, according to our partners at the Indianapolis Star.

Deputies found the couple's two children asleep near their mother's body. Investigators won't say what they learned from the children about the killers.

But the family says the two and three-year-old don't even realize their parents are gone. "As disturbing as that is, please anybody with information please contact the police," asks Lynn. "God don't like ugly. When you do things like that somebody is going to tell something. If you have any information please call the CrimeStoppers number."

Indianapolis Police Sgt. Clair Stipe says, "Both victims were shot, so someone may have heard something around a certain time."

So investigators hope someone will pick up the phone and call with the one piece of information to solve this double murder. "It's very possible someone could have drove past and seen or heard something."
