Speedway, Oct. 27 - In a surprising break in the case of a murder at a Speedway motel, Speedway Police announced Thursday morning the arrest of a former Super-8 Motel employee in the murder of a Super-8 customer.
Police arrested Joseph Pryor for the murder of 45-year-old James Santelli.
Motel employees found Santelli's body in his rented room last Monday morning. He'd been stabbed multiple times.
Police say they arrested Pryor after linking him to items stolen from the victim's truck and then sold at local pawn shops.
Investigators say Pryor admitted to the killing and getting into Santelli's room with a master key.
He was working at the hotel for only two days, but kept the key.
The investigation is on-going and could lead to more arrests.
