INDIANAPOLIS — One national charity is joining forces with a Formula One team to raise money for patients in hospitals across the country.

Starlight Children's Foundation is partnering with the American-based MoneyGram Haas F1 Team to give one lucky winner a unique piece of F1 history while raising money to help patients through their hospitalizations.

The charity provides hospital patients with programs to help combat feelings of stress, loneliness and anxiety.

Starlight provides programs to Indy hospitals like Riley Children's Health, IU Health Methodist Hospital and Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at Ascension St. Vincent. Everything from toy deliveries to Marvel-themed hospital gowns are being used by the local hospitals.

Through their partnership, the two organizations created and distributed F1-themed hospital gowns to patients across the nation to help children feel more comfortable during their medical journeys.

Now, the two are hosting "The Gift They Really Want," a nationwide campaign to benefit the foundation's mission while giving donors a chance to win hand-made gifts, and even a knitted driver's suit worn by F1 and Haas's Kevin Magnussen.
