PHOENIX (WTHR) — Atari announced its first video game-themed hotel will break ground in Phoenix later this year.
The hotel will be the first of its kind in the U.S., with more planned in Las Vegas, Denver, Chicago, Austin, Seattle, San Francisco and San Jose.
KPNX reports the full-service hotels will include arcade bars, themed rooms, fine dining restaurants and "fully immersive experiences" like virtual reality and augmented reality.
Select hotels will feature state-of-the-art venues and studios to accommodate esports events.
