WASHINGTON — Taylor Swift can do it with a broken heart, but she didn't have to do it alone on Sunday night as Travis Kelce lent her a hand on stage.

Fans attending her third Eras Tour show at London's Wembley Stadium were surprised with a special appearance on stage from the pop star's boyfriend.

Dressed in a tuxedo with a tailcoat and top hat, Kelce joined Swift on stage for a transitional sketch that leads into the song “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart." In fan videos, he's seen carrying Swift, urging her into a costume change.

The Kansas City Chiefs' tight end fanned and powdered her face as part of the act.

The intro on stage usually sees Swift acting exhausted, while two of her dancers get her changed and ready to perform again. Kelce's addition to the skit was him demonstrating dancing for Swift and encourage her to get going again.

Swift kicked off a series of London shows on Friday.

More than 88,000 people were in attendance at Friday's show in what she called "the most exhilarating city in the world." Among the famous attendees: Prince William celebrating his 42nd birthday at the show and posing for a photo with Swift along with two of his children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

She returns again to London on 15 August for five more dates as the hugely popular concert continues to travel around world. It is the only city on the Eras Tour where Swift is stopping twice.

Last month, in her first Eras Tour concert since the release of “The Tortured Poets Department,” Swift shook up her setlist. At the La Défense Arena in Paris, fans were treated to the inclusion of new songs from the record-breaking album released in April.

The billion-dollar Eras Tour is meant to be a career retrospective, with Swift performing more than 40 tracks reflecting 17 years of recorded music. “The Tortured Poets Department” was her first brand-new release since the tour’s start.
