Thunderstorms in northern Texas dropped some giant hail Monday.
Video from the storm shows the hail splashing down in a swimming pool at one home, piling up on the deck after falling off the roof. In another town, baseball-sized hail caused major damage to cars, smashing windows and leaving large dents.
"I just started ducking because it was pounding and it was so loud. So I just ducked underneath and luckily I had some books in my car and covered my head," said Bob Stephens, who was driving in the storm. "Some glass was coming in but the windshield was getting pounded by hail."
There were even reports of buildings being damaged in the hail storm.
