WASHINGTON — Watch the special in the link or player below.

After 25 years, George, Nina and the rest of the Banks family came back to the screen Friday for a special reunion and sequel to the "Father of the Bride."

Original cast members Steve Martin (George), Diane Keaton (Nina), Kimberly Williams-Paisley (Annie), Martin Short (Franck), Kieran Culkin (Matty) and George Newbern (Bryan) were back for "Father of the Bride Part 3(ish) on Netflix and streamed on YouTube. Some special guests also joined the fun.

The extended Banks family is Zooming from quarantine, with even George and Nina in separate rooms. Of course, George is a little obsessive-compulsive, making sure everyone has all the PPE they need.

Their son, Matty, hops on and says that since his wedding to fiance Rachel (Alexandra Shipp) was put on hold by the pandemic, he doesn't want to wait any longer. He tells the family he wants to marry her right there on Zoom.

The family is all excited, but George laments that he won't get to be the Father of the Groom (as in, he won't be able to attend a lavish wedding that someone else has to pay for).

Minutes later, Rachel logs on after her hospital shift and agrees to the unusual nuptials.

Her dad, James, can't walk her down the aisle, but he Zooms in for the ceremony. He's played by Robert DeNiro.

And who else would be proper to officiate the wedding except, yes, Franck. For fun, Matty and Rachel repeat their vows, in Franck's accent.

The ceremony culminates with Annie and Bryan's son Georgie (Ben Platt of "Pitch Perfect") singing "The Way You Look Tonight."

Also there for the ceremony is Annie and Matty's little sister, Megan (Florence Pugh).

Netflix said the event will be used to help benefit World Central Kitchen. The non-profit organization is working across America to safely distribute individually packaged, nutritious meals to those who cannot go outside due to the pandemic. A link was added to donate to their cause.

Since the coronavirus outbreak, the WCK said it has served more than 19 million meals in over 300 cities.
