BROOKLYN, N.Y. (WTHR) — A man posing as a FedEx delivery man went into a Brooklyn home, tied up a family and stole more than $100,000 worth of goods.

The whole thing was caught on the home's security cameras.

Video shows the first suspect approach the home dressed in what looks to be a FedEx uniform. He forces his way in as another man walks up behind him.

Once they got inside, they tied up an elderly couple and their daughter. One man tries to force the daughter to open the safe. A neighbor saw the two men carrying the safe out of the home and into a getaway car.

Upstairs, the men had ransacked the home, robbing them of more than $100,000 in cash and jewelry.

Police say it's not the first time something like this has happened, NBC News reports. Other incidents in New York and Houston have been reported.

FedEx told NBC News the incident is "deeply disturbing." The company said legitimate FedEx workers wear company-issued photo ID badges at all times.
