GLENDALE, Az. (KPNX-TV) - A mother and her three children are dead after a fire and explosion at their home in Glendale, Arizona Wednesday, and police say the incident may be suspicious.
Authorities say the fire began after a loud explosion rocked the neighborhood.
Firefighters battled the fire but were not able to get it under control before a 41-year-old woman and her children died.
Police say it appears the family was trying to get out of the house before they died.
Investigators have not identified a specific cause yet, but it has been deemed suspicious in nature.
