EVERETT, WASHINGTON (WTHR) — A magnitude 4.6. earthquake hit Washington state Friday morning, with the shaking felt by thousands of people.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the earthquake hit at 2:51 a.m, in Everett, Washington. Everett is about a half hour north of Seattle.
It was followed two minutes later by a 3.5 aftershock, KING5 reported.
