INDIANAPOLIS — One person was injured in a shooting on Mass Avenue Thursday afternoon.
Police say they responded to 875 Massachusetts Ave on a report of a person shot around 2 p.m.
Officers located a victim with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.
Medics transported the victim to the hospital in stable condition.
Police say the shooting appears to be accidental and there is no danger to the public.
