Powerball ticket worth $50,000 sold in Evansville

EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Lottery players that live in or have visited southern Indiana this weekend should check their tickets.

The Hoosier Lottery said a Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold at a convenience store in Evansville.

The winning ticket was sold at Drone's Convenience Store located at 410 N. Tekoppel Avenue. The winning Powerball numbers for Saturday, Oct. 14 are 14-16-42-48-64 with a Powerball of 14. 

Winners are reminded by the Hoosier Lottery to keep their tickets in a safe and secure location and consider meeting with a financial advisor as soon as possible. Winners can also call the Hoosier Lottery customer service line at 1-800-955-6886 for specific claim instructions. 

The Powerball jackpot for Monday, Oct. 16 is estimated at $34 million.
