Winning lottery tickets worth $50K, $11K sold in central Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS — Hoosier Lottery players in central Indiana should check their Powerball and Fast Play tickets!

The Hoosier Lottery announced Monday that in Saturday's drawing, one Powerball entry matched four of five numbers and the Powerball, and the $2 Max the Money Fast Play jackpot was also won.

The winning Powerball ticket, worth $50,000, was sold at 10th Street Discount Tobacco, located at 7319 W. 10th St., near North Girls School Road on Indianapolis' west side.

The winning Powerball numbers for the Aug. 3 drawing are 13-33-40-60-61 with the Powerball of 20. Players are encouraged to check their tickets with the Hoosier Lottery app.

The jackpot-winning Fast Play ticket was purchased at the Marathon Food Mart at at 9 US 31 South in Whiteland.

Ticket holders are encouraged to make sure their ticket is in a safe place, consider meeting with a financial advisor and contact Hoosier Lottery customer service at 1-800-955-6886 for instructions to claim the prize.

The Hoosier Lottery says Powerball overall odds are 1 in 25, while Max the Money overall odds are at 1 in 3.90.
