Winning Powerball ticket worth $100,000 sold in southern Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS — Residents in Floyd County should check their tickets!

The Hoosier Lottery said a winning Powerball with Power Play ticket worth $100,000 was sold at Bottles Unlimited, located at 427 State St. in New Albany. 

The winning ticket matched four out of the five numbers and the Powerball with a Power Play of 2X.

Wednesday's winning Powerball numbers are 25-40-43-48-50 with a Powerball of 11 and a Power Play of 2X. 

Anyone in possession of the winning ticket is urged to ensure their ticket is in a safe, secure place and to consider meeting with a financial advisor immediately. They can also contact Hoosier Lottery customer service at 1-800-955-6886 for specific claim instructions.

The Powerball jackpot for Saturday, Jan. 13 is estimated at $77 million.
