GREENWOOD, Ind. — Powerball players who recently purchased tickets in Johnson County will want to check their tickets because the Hoosier Lottery just announced a $50,000-winning ticket was sold at a Greenwood liquor store.
One entry matched four of the five numbers and the Powerball for Monday night's drawing.
The ticket was purchased at Superior Discount Liquors at 1004 US 31 South, near County Road 900 North.
The winning Powerball numbers for Monday, May 6 are 7-23-24-56-60 with the Powerball of 25.
Players can check their tickets with the Hoosier Lottery Mobile App.
The Hoosier Lottery said the ticketholder should ensure the ticket is in a safe place, consider meeting with a financial advisor and contact Hoosier Lottery customer service at 1-800-955-6886 for claim instructions.
The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday, May 8 is an estimated $20 million.
