INDIANAPOLIS — Mega Millions players in Marion County should check their tickets!
The Hoosier Lottery says a winning Mega Millions ticket worth $40,000 was sold at the GetGo gas station at 3301 E. 96th St., near Keystone Parkway on the north side of Indianapolis.
The ticket matched four out of five numbers and the Mega Ball with a Megaplier of 4X in Tuesday night's drawing.
The winning Mega Millions numbers for Tuesday, Aug. 20 are 5-20-26-49-51 with the Mega Ball of 24.
Anyone in possession of the winning ticket is reminded by the Hoosier Lottery to make sure it is in a safe and secure place and to consider meeting with a financial advisor immediately. They can also contact Hoosier Lottery customer service at 1-800-955-6886 for specific claim instructions.
The Mega Millions jackpot for Friday, Aug. 23 is estimated at $527 million. Mega Millions overall odds are 1 in 24, while jackpot odds are 1 in 302,575,350.
