2 big-winning Powerball tickets sold in Boone, Marion counties

One winning ticket was sold in Lebanon, while the other was sold in Southport.

INDIANAPOLIS — Powerball players in central Indiana should check their tickets!

The Hoosier Lottery says two winning Powerball tickets worth $50,000 were sold at Indianapolis-area gas stations. One winning ticket was sold at Mimi's Market, located at 817 W. South St. in Lebanon, while the other was sold at the Speedway, located at 7211 Madison Ave. in Southport. 

Both tickets matched four out of the five numbers as well as the Powerball for Saturday night's drawing. The winning numbers for Aug. 31 were 4-34-35-38-69 with the Powerball of 19. 

The Hoosier Lottery reminds anyone in possession of a winning ticket to make sure it is in a safe and secure location and to also consider meeting with a financial advisor immediately. 

Winners can contact Hoosier Lottery customer service at 1-800-955-6886 for specific claim instructions. 

The Powerball jackpot for Monday, Sept. 2 is estimated to be $80 million. Overall Powerball odds are 1 in 25.
