INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Broadcasters Association honored WTHR Monday night with several Spectrum Awards for the station’s news coverage.
The organization recognized WTHR’s Decision 2023 reporting on the November general election with top honors in the category for 2023 Election Coverage in the Indianapolis market.
Anchor/reporter Matthew Fultz won the inaugural Multimedia Journalist of the Year award with a collection of his stories from the past year.
Spectrum Awards also honored 13News senior investigative reporter Bob Segall and photojournalist Ryan Thedwall for their investigative report on the struggle to regulate the Delta-8 and CBD industry, where THC levels often violate Indiana law.
The Indiana Broadcasters Association presented the awards during a ceremony at the Indianapolis Cabaret on Tuesday evening.
