Wrong-way driver collides with 3 cars on Indy's south side

At least two people were injured, police said.

INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating a south Indianapolis crash that sent at least two people to the hospital Wednesday night.

It happened around 9:40 p.m. in the northbound lanes of South East Street at East Banta Road, according to authorities.

Police told 13News the four-vehicle crash involved a wrong-way driver.

There's no word on the extent of the injuries. An investigation is underway to determine if impairment was a factor in the collision.
