MUNCIE, Ind. — Police in Muncie are investigating after a woman was hit and killed by car Thursday.
Deputy Coroner Gavin Greene said it happened on South Madison Street at East Second Street.
Green said the victim, 55-year-old Tina Gregory, suffered blunt force trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.
13News is told the driver did stay on the scene.
A Muncie Police Department crash team is investigating. An autopsy is set for Saturday, Dec. 24.
