INDIANAPOLIS — Someone who bought a lottery ticket on the west side of Indianapolis is a half-million dollars richer after Monday's Powerball drawing.

A winning ticket worth $500,000 was sold at My Gas Station 3 at West 16th Street and North Tibbs Avenue. The ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball in the drawing. The person who bought the ticket also opted for the Power Play, which came in as "10X," which multiplied the $50,000 prize by 10 for a total prize of $500,000.

Monday's winning numbers were 6-18-33-48-53 with a Powerball of 21.

According to the Powerball website, 10 tickets matched four white balls and the Powerball Monday, with seven of those tickets cashing in on the Power Play boost.

The 10X multiplier is only activated when the advertised Powerball jackpot is $150 million or less. Monday's estimated jackpot, which did not have a winner, was $65 million. Odds of the 10X Power Play multiplier are 1-in-43.

The holder of the $500,000 ticket is encouraged to put the ticket in a secure place and consider consulting a financial advisor. The winner can call Hoosier Lottery customer service at 1-800-955-6886 for specific instructions on how to claim their prize.

The jackpot for Wednesday's drawing is estimated at $75 million.
