MARION, Ind. (WTHR) - The wife of a firefighter killed in a plane crash in Marion is now suing the pilot and company of the other plane involved in the incident.
Pike Creek Firefighter Kyle Hibst and David Wittkamper died in the crash this spring when their plane taking off clipped a jet that had landed.
Wittkamper's wife is suing the pilot of that other plane.
Her suit claims that pilot did not radio about landing on the proper frequency and did not look to see if other planes were coming.
She's suing for loss of love and affection among other things.
The final NTSB report on what happened with the crash could take at least a year to finish.
