INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - If you turned on your radio on Thursday, chances are you heard stories from Riley families.
Our partners at 95.5 WFMS are hosting their annual Riley Radiothon.
"So many of these kids who have been patients of Riley Hospital they've got that inner strength that we look at and go how do they go through all that," said Kevin Freeman, part of the Jim, Deb & Kevin show. "How do they deal with not just the physical but also the mental and just the stress of everything that goes along with that. These kids are strong.
This is the 15th year for their radiothon.
This year they're are asking listeners to donate just $20 dollars a month.
That money is used to help kids and families at Riley right now.
In 14 years, this radiothon has raised more than $2 million.
