INDIANAPOLIS — Walruses are coming back to Indianapolis.
The Indianapolis Zoo posted a special announcement on social media Wednesday, June 26, announcing the return of walruses to the zoo on Monday, July 1.
A spokesperson from the zoo told 13News the walruses had been moved to a temporary home while improvements were made to their habitat.
"Our team has received questions nearly every week about their return, and we are thrilled to welcome them back," the spokesperson said.
