An Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper is recovering after being hit by an SUV along I-40.
Last month, Trooper Jason Richardson suffered injuries to his legs and head when he was struck by an SUV as it rolled along I-40.
Richardson was responding to an accident near I-40 and Hwy 177 at the time.
As he was walking toward that accident scene along a cable barrier, Richardson was hit by an SUV that lost control and swerved into the median.
On Thursday, OHP officials released shocking dash cam footage that captured the accident on tape.
Moments after the wreck, people are seen rushing from all around to aid the trooper.
