FRANKFORT, Ind. (WTHR) — The Clinton County Sheriff came up with a special tribute for one of his deputies.
That's because Deputy Ryan West is a retired Marine Corps Chief Warrant Officer 2. He had served 18 years before being forced to medically retire due to injuries he got during a training exercise.
Sheriff Rich Kelly decided to wrap Deputy West's department vehicle with a tribute to his military service and to the United States military.
"This vehicle not only serves as a tribute to our community’s service men and women, but it is also a recruiting tool to bring prospective employees into our community," said Sheriff Kelly.
