INDIANAPOLIS — According to the Allison Transmission website, members of UAW Local 933 have rejected a tentative four-year agreement with the company.
The release states that members of the plant's union will continue working while both parties return to the table for negotiations. The tentative deal had support from local union leaders but was not ratified by the union's members.
Neither party says they plan on discussing the specifics of the agreement or negotiations publicly.
The Allison Transmission plant is located in Speedway and manufactures transmissions for medium and heavy-duty commercial vehicles.
