Tyler Trent co-hosts SportsCenter on ESPN Wednesday night

Tyler Trent appeared on ESPN and fulfill another dream after trading notes with SportsCenter host Scott Van Pelt during the show.

(WTHR) – As you all know by now, Tyler Trent has not only inspired Purdue Boilermakers but people far beyond that.

Trent has been battling a rare bone cancer that has left him paralyzed from the waist down. But that didn't stop him from attending Purdue's big game against Ohio State this past weekend.

Trent’s positive attitude and courageous battle with cancer helped inspire the Purdue Boilermakers to a huge upset over then second-ranked Ohio State Saturday night.

Trent also may have been the biggest star at the game, with exposure to his story on the national television broadcast.

Wednesday night, Trent fulfilled another dream after trading notes with ESPN SportsCenter host Scott Van Pelt.

Leading up to the broadcast it was hard to tell if Trent or Van Pelt was more excited for the show.
