SPEEDWAY, Ind. — The dates for the Town of Speedway's second Resident Academy have been announced.
The Resident Academy is a five-session program designed to give residents of Speedway an inside look at how the town operates. Residents are taught how services are provided to the town and have the opportunity to tour facilities to form a greater understanding of what goes into making the town function.
The academy begins in February, and interested residents have until Jan. 19 to apply. Applicants will be notified of their selection on Feb. 2, and class sizes will be limited to 25 people.
