Thousands of IPL customers without power on the west side

Thousands of IPL customers are without power on the west side due to an IPL outage.

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Thousands of IPL customers were without power on the west side due to an IPL outage Friday.

An outage map shows customers near Ben Davis High School. IPL tweeted there are around 14,000 customers without power.

According to its website, IPL estimates power will be restored by 3:15. IPL told Eyewitness News crews are on site trying to isolate the issue.

Only a few dozen customers were listed without power at midnight Friday.
