INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Volunteers at one of the sites distributing free Thanksgiving dinners needs help getting them to those in need.

Volunteers at Messiah Baptist Church started preparing the dinners early this morning and by late morning they had little to no pick ups.

Right now there are 150 free dinners still available as part of the Mozel Sanders Thanksgiving Dinners.

They can be picked up at Messiah Baptist Church at 5640 E. 38th Street in Indianapolis.

Organizers welcome people who may know of a family in need to come pick up the dinners or those individuals who are in need as well.
