MUNCIE, Ind. (WTHR) - Muncie police say a 17-year-old is dead after a shooting in downtown Muncie Thursday.
Police say 17-year-old Allayza Jackson was shot in the 300 block of West Main street around noon.
Police say Marilyn Wilson surrendered to police after the shooting.
Police believe the shooting resulted from an earlier dispute at the Delaware County Courthouse.
Medics transported Jackson to Ball Memorial hospital where she later died.
