Sunrise team stays #UpAllNight

The WTHR Sunrise team went around town to see who else was #UpAllNight after the Super Bowl. Check out everything they found.

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — The Sunrise team stayed up past their bedtimes to pull an all-nighter in the midst of the Super Bowl, the latest episode of This Is Us, Jimmy Fallon and of course, to keep you updated on what's happened overnight.

They also went around town to see who else was #UpAllNight. Check out everything they found below.

11:34 p.m.

12:02 a.m.

Chuck Lofton gave us the latest weather update, and it looks like I-65 is going to be slick for the morning commute.

2 a.m.

Ben and Julia ran around downtown visiting some of Hoosiers favorite places — some open and some not.

Julia and Ben made a pit stop at White Castle to pick up a newsroom snack. All that running around downtown has made the Sunrise team hungry.

Normally the Sunrise shifts starts in the early hours of the morning, but not today. Because the team has been #UpAllNight, we wanted to check in to see how Chuck was doing.

It didn't take very long from our last update for the sleepiness to set in. It looks like Chuck Lofton is sleeping tweeting on set. Julia on the other hand came prepared — Red Bull!

Our friends in South Korea bringing us Olympic coverage are also taking part in #UpAllNight! Dave Calabro and Carlos Diaz, along with producer Cyndee Hebert and photographer Ryan Thedwall are watching Sunrise while they await their pizza delivery.

One thing the WTHR team didn't expect to see in South Korea: robotic fish. Dave and Carlos found a special fish tank in the mountains, and of course had to document it.
