Strawberry Festival returning to Monument Circle in June

The annual event returns for the 58th time to Monument Circle on Thursday, June 13.

INDIANAPOLIS — Monument Circle will once again host the popular Strawberry Festival this summer. 

The 58th annual Strawberry Fest is set to begin Thursday, June 13 at 9 a.m. and last until 4 p.m., or until supplies run out. Entertainment during the event will be performed within "SPARK on the Circle."

For $10, guests can purchase the "works," which is treat made of homemade shortcake, strawberries, ice cream and a whipped topping. Single items will be available for purchase as well, including strawberries and ice cream for $3 each, as well as shortcake with whipped topping for $2 each. 

Pre-sale orders of 10 or more, along with advance tickets, can be purchased at the festival's website.

All proceeds beyond the festival costs will be donated to charity. 

Guests can expect a bit of a different layout as construction on the Soldiers and Sailors Monument is in its final stages. The south steps of the monument will be set up for seating, as well as featuring provided tables.
