BROWN COUNTY STATE PARK (WTHR) - Indiana's oldest state employee is getting a sign in his honor at Brown County State Park.
Bob Vollmer is 100 years old and is in his 55th year of service for the Department of Natural Resources. State officials will dedicate a sign in his name Tuesday at Brown County State Park.
Vollmer did extensive work for Brown County State Park's 10 O'Clock Line Nature Preserve.
Last year, Vollmer received a Sagamore of the Wabash, the state's highest award.
