Farmland - The family and friends of Jennifer Haskell will be holding a benefit concert Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Farmland Friends Church.
The event will include food, drinks, music, door prize raffles, and a silent auction. Admission to the event is a donation at the door. All proceeds will be used to establish a scholarship fund in her name. See details.
In Chicago on Saturday friends and loved ones of Christina Santiago will gather to celebrate her life. Santiago was killed in the Indiana State Fair stage collapse on August 13th.
The celebration begins at 1 p.m. (CST) at the Chicago History Museum and is open to the public.
She is survived by her wife, Tallish Marie Renown, who was also injured in the stage collapse.
