INDIANAPOLIS — Singer Lisa Loeb says her stolen guitar has been returned. It was taken outside the Conrad Hotel in downtown Indianapolis around 2 p.m. on Tuesday July 30.
Loeb posted her thanks to police for helping her find it on social media.
"We appreciate all of you," Loeb wrote. "Thanks for your concern! The fellow who took it in the first place was probably just down on his luck and I wish him well too."
Loeb took to social media Wednesday for help in tracking down the stolen guitar.
In a post on Instagram, Loeb said her guitar was stolen outside of the Conrad Hotel in downtown Indianapolis around 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 30.
Its a 512-C (#9765) Taylor Guitar with gold tunes, and it was in a pink and red soft case.
She urged the public to "please keep an eye out for it" — a plea that was rewarded later Wednesday when the guitar was found by the owner of O'Reilly's bar and returned.
Loeb performed July 29 at Hendricks Live! in Plainfield, before dates in Ohio and Pennsylvania Tuesday and Wednesday.
