LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Who said Easter egg hunts were just for kids?
The Boy Scouts of America is hosting "Scouting 4 Eggs," an adult-only Easter egg hunt at Franklin L. Cary Camp in Lafayette.
The sixth annual event takes place Saturday, March 23. Shuttles from Faith Church East begin running at 6 p.m. There will be no parking at Franklin L. Cary Camp. Hunting begins at sunset.
Pre-registration is required, and the cost is $25 per person. No walk-ins are allowed.
The maximum number of participants is 1,500 to 2,000 adults, with 30,000 Easter eggs up for grabs.
According to organizers, there will be approximately 3,000 prizes given out, including a chance to win sports tickets/memorabilia, artwork, gift cards, a big screen TV and more.
There will also be a photo booth, Easter-inspired costume contest, yard games — and of course the Easter Bunny will be in attendance.
There will be campfire rings, so attendees are recommended to bring a lawn chair. Free s'mores will be provided.
Glow sticks will be available for purchase, but you can also bring your own flashlight.
