INDIANAPOLIS — Riley Children's Health and president Gil Peri are parting ways, an IU Health spokesperson confirmed to 13News.
The spokesperson did not share any information on the circumstances of the departure, stating only, "Gil Peri is leaving the organization."
Peri joined Riley Children's Health as president in June 2021 after serving as president and chief operating officer of Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford. He also previously served in leadership roles at Children's Hospital Colorado and Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
According to organization's website, Ryan Nagy, president of the IU Health adult academic health center, has been named interim president of Riley Children's Health.
"Dr. Nagy is responsible for determining the strategic vision and priorities for IU Health Methodist and University Hospitals and Riley Children’s," according to the Riley Children's Health website.
Nagy joined the adult academic health center in 2021 as an anesthesiologist and has served as chief of anesthesiology and chief medical officer.
