INDIANAPOLIS — Rev, presented by Fifth Third Bank, has announced its celebrity chef for the 2024 event.
Chef Beau MacMillan, a Food Network regular and winner of "Iron Chef America," will be at the signature event to kick off the Month of May at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Saturday, May 4.
The annual event benefits IU Health patients. Funds raised through the event go toward trauma and critical care programs and mental health services across the state. That includes the care provided to drivers at the IU Health Emergency Medical Center located at IMS.
Tickets for the event's 11th year went on sale Dec. 1 and sold out in record time. Click here to join the waitlist.
Rev 2024 will feature 88 chefs from central Indiana's favorite restaurants and more than 20 artists and entertainment acts.
MacMillan, a two-time James Beard Foundation Award nominee, has also appeared on Food Network shows "Guy's Grocery Games," "Best Thing I Ever Ate" and "Cooks vs. Cons," as well as NBC's "TODAY" show.
He now oversees culinary vision at the restaurant CALA in Scottsdale, Arizona.
"I am honored to serve as this year’s Rev Celebrity Chef and join the best local chefs Indianapolis has to offer, all for a special cause," MacMillan said. "I’ve been told Rev is the perfect kickoff for May at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and I can’t wait to see it all for the first time."
As Rev's official celebrity chef, MacMillan will create a special driver-inspired dish for the event.
In addition to helping bring MacMillan to Rev, Good Ranchers is joining Rev for a wider community initiative to donate to the Indiana University Health Nutrition Hub at Methodist Hospital, which works to bridge the food gap for local patients experiencing food insecurity.
