INDIANAPOLIS — In late September, Mina Starsiak Hawk, star of HGTV's "Good Bones," announced she would be closing her south side hardware store, "Two Chicks District Co.," by the end of the year.
However, Starsiak Hawk is not leaving Indiana or even the Indianapolis area.
In an interview with People magazine, Starsiak Hawk said not long after making the decision to close her Bates-Hendricks store, a man contacted her about moving her business to Hamilton County.
After checking out the city, Starsiak Hawk said she was instantly sold and has plans to open a store there in 2024. She also said she wants to renovate homes in the area.
The People magazine interview further says Starsiak Hawk met with Noblesville Mayor Chris Jensen and was impressed with his plans to develop the city while staying respectful to the historic downtown.
