INDIANAPOLIS — Fans of Chicago-style hot dogs and Italian beef sandwiches will have a chance to try them street style without having to leave the Circle City.
Portillo's is bringing its iconic "Beef Bus" to Indianapolis for a five day tour beginning Aug. 7 and wrapping up Aug. 11. Over the course of the tour, the food truck will serve Portillo's favorites such as Chicago dogs, a mini version of their Italian beef sandwich, Italian or Polish sausages and crinkle cut fries with cheese sauce.
In addition to the food options, the tour will also feature prize giveaways music featuring a live DJ and a 360 photo booth.
Here's where the Portillo's "Beef Bus" will be stopping during its tour:
- Wednesday, Aug. 7 at 11 a.m.
- Indy StreetSide (307 N Pennsylvania St., Indianapolis); Event Hours: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., while supplies last
- Thursday, Aug. 8 at 4 p.m.
- Brownsburg Farmer’s Market (61 N. Green St., Brownsburg); Event Hours: 4 p.m. – 8 p.m., while supplies last
- Friday, Aug. 9 at 4 p.m.
- Indy StreetSide (9 E Market St., Indianapolis); Event Hours: 4 p.m. – 9 p.m., while supplies last
- Saturday, Aug. 10 at 10 a.m.
- Castleton Square Mall (6020 E 82nd St., Indianapolis); Event Hours: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., while supplies last
- Sunday, Aug. 11 at 11 a.m.
