It's supposed to be a bunch of fun, but some families are finding a small toy called Bunchems is becoming a big hazard.
Bunchems is a velcro-like ball that kids can mold to make cute creations.
But Bunchems have been bunching all over kids' hair.
Parents across the country have been taking to social media and Amazon product reviews to share their anguish.
That's exactly what happened to 4-year-old Reagan. She's back to playing with her Bunchems now, still wrapped with hair, a reminder of what happened.
"It hurt when they pulled them out," Reagan Madsen said.
"And they wouldn't come out of your hair?" a reporter asked.
"A few did," Reagan said.
While it looks like the pieces would simply slide out, each Bunchem has a hook at the end, which wraps and twists the hair.
"Every little hook gets wrapped around that hair," said Reagan's mom, Christina Munoz Madsen. "And that's how they get really stuck really fast."
"All around my hair," Reagan said.
"When you have that many...there's probably 14 or 15 in her hair," Christina said. "They were getting matted down to her scull. And that's when the hair started really wrapping around. And there was no moving them. They did not budge."
It's become such a problem the company has produced a video to show parents how to get them out.
"We put her in the bath and took gobs and gobs of conditioner and that's what the video said," Christina said. "And it didn't come out as easy as the video suggested, but it did work. It just took a long time."
Reagan is still allowed to play with Bunchems, but there's a new rule to keep them away from the hair.
