LAWRENCE, Ind. (WTHR) - Police say a suspect briefly stole a Lawrence police car during a warrant arrest Monday afternoon.
Police say the suspect was being detained for a warrant he they took the police car and led police on a brief chase.
Officers say the chase ended in an apartment complex near 42nd and Post.
Police say the suspect was handcuffed and seat belted in the back of the police car when he stole the car.
