INDIANAPOLIS — At least seven teenagers were involved in a "serious" injury crash on Indianapolis' west side early Friday, according to a police report.
The single-car crash was reported around 1:30 a.m. June 14 in the 8700 block of Rockville Road, a few blocks west of Country Club Road.
A 13News crew at the scene saw a pickup truck appeared to have struck the porch of a house and ended up in its front yard.
A public police report indicated there were serious injuries in the crash, and listed a 17-year-old driver and at least six passengers between the ages of 15 and 18 years old.
An IMPD spokesperson provided additional information Friday morning, as investigators believe the driver of the truck lost control, went off the road, and hit a utility pole, a house and multiple decks of two houses.
Police said gas lines were also damaged from the crash.
According to IMPD, the driver, who submitted to a blood draw, and all of the passengers were transported to hospitals. Police did not share additional information on their conditions.
Following the crash, the truck was towed from the scene.
