MORGAN COUNTY, Ind. — A pedestrian is dead after being struck by a car in Morgan County Saturday morning.
Officials told 13News police received a call just before 5 a.m. on Sept. 21 reporting that a female pedestrian was hit by a vehicle near the 6500 block of State Road 252, between Sedwick and Whetstine Roads, in Martinsville.
She was declared dead at the scene.
Michael Ellis, the Morgan County coroner, said the pedestrian is between the ages of 22-32. Her identity is unknown at this time.
