INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating after a woman was discovered dead on the roof at the Slippery Noodle bar in downtown Indianapolis Thursday evening.
Around 6 p.m. on Dec. 28, IMPD said they responded to check the welfare of a person after someone on a passing train noticed what looked like a person sleeping.
IMPD said the woman’s death is not suspicious at this time.
The Marion County Coroner’s office identified the woman as 39-year-old Laura Jones. The coroner's office has not released a cause of death.
The restaurant and bar released a statement on their Facebook page around 10 p.m. Thursday extending their condolences to the woman's family.
