A Pike Township Schools employee was arrested after a 13-year-old boy accused him of sexual abuse.

Police arrested John White, 27, of Indianapolis, on two counts of child molestation. White was a part-time teaching assistant at Lincoln Middle School.

The boy's mother reported to police that her son had been sexually abused over the last several months.

The 13-year-old's mother says White met her son last year while working with students with special needs at Snacks Elementary School. Police say the abuse did not happen at school, but allegedly occurred at White's home.

Detective's say White told them the boy slept over at his house on several occasions, but denies any sexual contact took place.

Final charging decisions will be made by the Marion County Prosecutor's Office.
